USER'S INFORMATION AND OPT OUT

      Any information the User shares with us is strictly confidential and will only be used in the way the User requests. We may collect, with your consent, your e-mail address for the purpose of sending your ordered transcription. Such information will NOT be shared or sold to a third party for any reason whatsoever.

      Any User may delete his e-mail address from our database at any time on by contacting us.



PROCESSED FILES

      All files uploaded and processed by DaDaScribe are handled to create the User's requested transcription. DaDaScribe.com offers 100% privacy and security on all uploaded and transcribed material. DaDaScribe offers 100% confidentiality guarantee on any data uploaded or entered by the User (see our Terms of Service for more information).

1. What is the current status of DaDaScribe's GDPR compliance?

DaDaScribe intends and expects to comply with GDPR by its effective date on March 24, 2023, including having a legal basis under Article 6 GDPR for processing any personal data.


2. How do DaDaScribe Software as a Service process personal data?

Minimally, if at all. DaDaScribe just collects User's email with the only purpose of sending to the User his/her ordered transcription.

DaDaScribe doesn't share any personal information data with anyone and doens't show it publicly on his website.


3. Is sensitive data stored within DaDaScribe tools or website?

DaDaScribe does not currently believe that it processes, let alone seeks or expect that it will seek to process, any personal data that is subject to Article 9 GDPR, "Processing of special categories of personal data," which, in reference to GDPR, is generally referred to as "sensitive personal data."


4. Are you a data processor, as you store and organize data from other sources?

DaDaScribe currently does not believe it is a data processor for a data controller, necessitating that it enter into customary and compliant data processing agreements with data controllers. However, should that change, in order to comply with GDPR, DaDaScribe believes that both DaDaScribe as a data processor and the data controller will need to enter into a compliant data processor agreement.


5. Is DaDaScribe able or will DaDaScribe be able to respond to data subject requests under GDPR?

Yes, absolutely.


6. In particular, if I am a data subject and DaDaScribe is a data controller to my personal data, can DaDaScribe comply with my request "to be forgotten"?

Yes, of course. The User can request to have his/her email removed from our database all together at any time.


7. Which personal data does your company collect?

At the moment, DaDaScribe collects only the User's email address as explained above, with the only purpose of sending to the User his/her ordered transcription.

Therefore, DaDaScribe does not collect or process any sensitive personal data. 


8. Where are the headquarters of your company?

DaDaScribe is headquartered in Laguna Niguel, California, USA.


9. Are your contracts, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policies aligned with the GDPR?

Yes.


10. Are you offering data storage and all processing for your EU customers to take place within the EU?

As DaDaScribe is headquartered in the United States and is not "established" anywhere in the EU, it does not see any advantage in hosting personal data in the EU, since DaDaScribe will have no personnel in the EU to process any of the personal data in order to perform its obligations to its subscribers. 


11. Are you willing to sign the mandatory data processing agreement?

As answered in Question 4 (above), DaDaScribe currently does not believe it is a data processor for a data controller, necessitating that it enter into customary and compliant data processing agreements with data controllers. However, should that change, in order to comply with GDPR, DaDaScribe believes that both DaDaScribe as a data processor and the data controller will need to enter into a compliant data processor agreement.  



THIRD PARTY PRIVACY POLICY

      DaDaScribes currently uses payment services provided by Stripe and may share the user's email address when a monetary transaction is requested by the user (i.e., for purchasing a service, subscription, or product). Please check Stripe's privacy policy to learn how they handle your data.
